Gotland Runt 1950
Johanna can be found on the start list of Gotland Runt. At that time name was Blanzeflor which can be seen on the list of boats at 5th start.

Summer getting closer
Summer and launch time gets closer. Some steel frames got rid of rust and got some Hammerite paint on them, need still another layer and Hempel multicoat as top paint.
Hull will get white Epifanes, bottom Inter cruiser eco antifouling paint. Autumn will reveal if it really works or if it merely works as growing surface for anything living.

Brass or bronze screws or something else?
Shortly said: brass screws are for furnitures, not for boats. And be cautious of using stainless steel (304 and 316) below water line.

Vacation sailing with Johanna
This year our vacation sailing lasted two weeks and the west-most location was west harbour in Maarianhamina. The most memorable moment was at Kihti in 10 m/s fresh wind when we logged 7,2 knots! For our 63 years old 9 ton ocean going yacht it was very well done!
