NavigationPC and OpenCPN
Just bought a eeepc which will be used as a navigation PC. I installed Linux on it since iit came with XP Home. Distribution used was Mepis 8.5. For plotting software I installed opencpn which works well with touchscreens. I am using a external 8,4″ touchscreen which will find a suitable place outside.
First tests were promising and also the touchscreen worked well after I installed it’s configuration program.
