Still on dry land….
Still on dry land, although no special renovating jobs were on to-do-list. Amazing how whole spring just vanished from the calendar. Still hope that she will float before Midsummer. We’ll see.

This year’s season is over. Johanna is on dry land. Trip to boat yard took two days this autumn.
Time to start writing new to-do list, or was it not-to-do?
Launch went without any problems. Leaking was normal and engine works like a dream.
Roof of the doghouse has now three layers of varnish, few more and it is ok. Tomorrow mast should be on it’s place, and then we can head for home.
Roof is missing some more varnish. Launch date planned for the coming week so few morew layers will be applied.
The roof how it used to be and under is the new one. Cardboard was replaced with real wood.
Approx half of doghouse’s new roof is now ready. The outside top is still missing. Before that I need to put the middle layer in place. It is fiberglass mat with epoxy.
Floating at Midsummer?
Doghouse roof is totally gone. Since the roof was away, it was pretty easy to sand the walls from the inside. The roof frames are waiting for the first layer of varnish. Their surfaces were in quite a miserable condition so I took the old varnish away. They should be back in their place during the weekend so I could start building the new roof then.
Decided to remove the doghouse roof and did it. The problem with it was the cardboard or something under the teak. Also the front of the roof leaked so it is time to rebuild the roof.
